COBRA INTAKES

HELLO IS A COBRA UPPER AND LOWER INTAKE AN UPGRADE FROM STOCK DO I NEED TO INCREASE MY INJECTORS. IF YES TO WHAT LBS? :wink

Yes it's better than stock and no you don't need to upgrade injectors just for that. But, with that said the Cobra's do come with 24#'s. You can upgrade if you want, but you won't pickup any horsepower from the injectors. The intake is good for 5-10 rwhp on an otherwise stock motor.

the GT-40 intake is better then the Cobra and if your running a basic car like he said. #24's are good.

The stock injectors (19lb) will be fin to 300 whp. Until you get there you will not need bigger ones. Larger injectors will onlu hurt your idle quality with a stock motor.

Best bang for the $ fuel mod is get rid of the 15 year old stock 87gph fuel pump. And a adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

I think alot of people are quick to upgrade injectors. Although upgrading injectors is not a bad choice, it is not necessary on a mild build. I've gone 11.50s with 19lb injectors in a heavy street beater.

At the time I was using a C&L 73mm piece of garbage.

My daily driver has 16 cylinders and 4400hp @ 1000 rpm....
