So much money spent on things that make the car's value and speed go up by 0. I just don't understand it, for 550 bucks you could do fully ceramic coated shorties or half of kooks longtubes, new rear tires and rims, gears and a tuner, and so much more that makes the car go faster.

Just my take, it's you car, do what you please, but aside from a front cobra badge on my 04 Terminator, and a grille delete on my 04 GT, I wouldn't spend any other money on looks/interior. JMHO.

EDIT: And think of the money your putting into this, add everything up and it's a decent down-payment on a real Cobra, plus the sale of your GT....

no issues with making a clone here. do it up! i have always wanted to make a clone out of a v6, and get the license plate "IMPSTR".

as for the badging. meh. not a huge fan, but i did take my cousin's 03 gt and put everything on the exterior including the badges to make it look like an 03/04. but my cousin is a force recon Marine with a Purple Heart and 2 tours of duty (he is 21), so, i had no issues doing what he wanted to do with the car.

Let me clarify, I don't have issues (I resolved that with gray about a month ago) I'm just offering insight. Not saying hes a dou*che canoe for doing it or trying to convince him not to. I'm playing devils advocate, and basically just putting my ideas on screen for him..

Although I do not support Cobra badging on anything but a Cobra. Body panels, meh, but for the badging....

Very true Nothin I'm doing to the car in making a 03 clone is making the value or the car go up. I know that not a big deal with me because i don't wanna ever sell the car. I still own every mustang I've every had. Besides prices of cars drop every day. When the 2000 GT convertible came out it was a 25,000 dollar car new. and one today would never sell for that.
IMO everyone can build there car any way they want to as long as they like it.Hell take a cobra and turn it into a v6 for all i care( yes you would be a complete idiot to do this) but it your car. Plain and simple i don't think i could ever own a true 03 cobra, so i can do the next best thing and build my own.
And as for performance sure I'll do all the bolt on's normal stuff, I'm even saving for a kenne bell set up. but if i wanna go fast i have my 91 coupe drag car for that. Thanks for every ones input though.
