Bought a chisel less than an hour ago.
Just finished taking off the upper adhesive on the '03 top.

Probably clean the window area later today. Get ready for a primer run? Maybe apply Windo-Weld?

Also have other non-automotive things on the agenda today.

When she feels like showing it, it's currently around near 159k. Next oil change is just past 160k.

And yes, she needs to get cleaned.

Nice. I only got 2 passes outif my ET streets before my engine popped. I'm looking forward to running it again now that my new engine is in.

Speaking of new engine. Went to start it for the first time and the fuel pump was lifeless. So I threw in a TRE 255 super car pump at midnight. I was ticked but my neighbors were more mad and my wife evern more mad when I fired it up at 1 am

Started pulling out my 2V and T45. Snapped off the lil fitting on my coolant reservoir tank so i guess ill be buying a new tank.

Not really motivated to even complete the job even though i have buyers for both.

Just need to pull the drive shaft, drop the tranny cross member, pull off the shifter and then pull off the steering shaft and all should be ready to come out the top

Don't forget the 2 ground cables by the driver side motor mount or the oil pressure sensor and a/c wires and anything connected to the harness

yeah i got the ac compressor unbolted and off to the side, got the grounds taken care of and the sensor. There are plugs everywhere for the harness it seems but i think i got them all. basicaly just have to go back over everything and double check.

This is my first crack at pulling an engine out of a car and its pretty straight forward.

I was goin to try leaving the drive shaft bolted to the pinion but it was suggested that i just drop it to keep it from binding in the tail shaft and creating a major PITA.

And I havent read much about pulling one of these out the top with BBk LT's so hopefully it goes well
