Dude your AFR is horrendous. Should be like 11.5-11.8:1 AFR. Not 12+ then 14+ at high rpm's.

Great numbers and all, but that AFR is terrible man

thats what the tuner told me and the maff is located inside the passenger side fender thats where the guy who installed it put it they also said i have an air leak somewhere but i couldnt seem to find it

air leak? a boost leak or a vacuum leak? i would think a boost leak would cause you to run rich if anything. and yeah in the pass side fender would be a blow through setup. if a guy installed it for you i would be all over his ass if there are any leaks whatsoever.

Yo alex why did you have someone install it when you could do it for free. I told you I would give you a hand. As for the leak it really unescusable. Who ever installed it should be responsible for any kind of air leaks. Call lethal performance and tell them all your mods and then they will write a tune for you. You could tell them to write you a few tunes. More timing on each and so on so you could have a conservative tune and a strip tune. Then we can go to the dyno and we should be able to do small adjustments to the af if needed with the handheld. You can drive the car now but don't step on it because you will burn a valve or a piston. Fix any leaks you might have asap.

dont you want the conservative tune for the strip? Strip puts so much stress on every part of the car. Your taking 3500lbs with 460ftlbs from a dead stop, WOT all the way for a 1/4 mile. Just my opinion

No. First of all no one is talking about 460ft lbs of torque. And the agresive tune I would use it at the strip because. 1 he does not go to the track often. 2 I rather blow at the track than on the street racing someone risking an accident and finaly a strip tune does not mean a bomb tune. You could have an agresive tune with relatively safe timing and it will be safe. then for your conservative tune will be based on less timing and a bit more rich. And the reason for less timing is not to prevent detonation but to cut max power. Why would you want to push the motor so hard all the time?

it should be a draw threw set up if the maf is in the passenger side fender. unless he has a procharger ic set up then it places it there. lightning maf's will peg early in a blow threw set up if they are put in a smaller housing. in a draw threw set up there is plenty of head room on the lightning maf and it should not be pegged. i would also look to see if you have and iat hooked up since the lightning maf does not have one in the maf. if there is no iat one can be had for cheap at auto zone or some other auto parts store. i would also have it installed just before the tb so the computer can register true air temps entering the motor. im not sure if the info quick is getting is right and he should take it somewhere else. i know steeda is down off martin luther king and they are a little better.

Okay, 460ftlbs of torque is what hes making at the motor first of all.

And Id rather not have the car blow at all. Why run like 15 more horsepower with a more aggresive tune, and chance breaking something a lot easier when it could have been prevented if he had stayed with a good overall conservative tune (which his is not at the moment)

To run what? A tenth or 2 quicker? doesnt make much sence to me...just my 2 cents man.

annndddd...even if the maf was pegging. The a/f ratio should be good in the lower rpm/power range/where the maf isnt pegging, then get wacky once it pegs. Give me a sec and ill post a pic of what it should look like with a good tune and maf that pegs. vs a a/f ratio that looks like ~~~~~~~~~~/\/\/~//\/\/\ across the board.

pegs right around 5500 (as you can see)

Your tuner is retarded. Go somewhere else if you want your car to stay together. I'm pretty sure the difference in the wiring for the lightning MAF is that the lightning MAf does not have the IAT sensor integrated. More wires doesn't mean the MAF will support more power LOL. Also, you should be un the 11.5-11.7 rage throughout the rpm range while in Boost. Anything over 12.0 is playing with fire on these cars. close to 14 is almost guaranteed detonation.
