H&R springs suck for drag racing.

After installing a set of front drag springs once, I would just go coilovers on the front, and stock GT springs on the rear, cut for ride height for drag racing.

Bolt-On Bullitt... Unmodified longblock, stock intake and throttle body.

If drag performance is what you are after, keep the stock springs IMO. You can trim them a bit to give a better stance, but definitely no "need" to install new ones.

There is an old saying: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

That heavily pertains to this subject. You need to take your car to the track and see how it performs now and to figure out where you can improve. There is no point throwing money and parts at a car without knowing even how it performs now.

What do you have done to the car? Tires? Suspension?....let's start with the rear suspension cause that is where you will see most of your improvements off the line. What do your current 60fts look like?

We need to know what mods you have to your car's suspension, what tires you are running, and what your current 60fts are. What is the car doing off the line?

Edit: just saw your tires listed LOL

Do you have upper and lower control arms yet? I would do those before anything else.

I run Maximum Motorsports XD lowers and UPR Pro Uppers, and have been happy with them.

You want double adjustable uppers, and lowers with sphericals or heim joints in both ends.

Do torque box reinforcements while you have it apart, I used the Wild Rides products on mine.

JAYC pulls 1.4x-1.5x 60's on these 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Pro Series Adjustable Control Arms Package - UPR Products

you need FLSFC's (Full length subframe connectors)
Laurel Mountain Mustang - 1979 - 2004 Mustang full lenth subframe connectors

1979-2004 Ford Mustang Upper & Lower Torque Box Kits - eBay (item 270691897959 end time Jan-22-11 06:01:45 PST)

Keep the stock rear springs and cut bout 1/2 a coil off them and do Coil overs or C/O's and tubular K-member up front

like every on has said, stick with the stock springs especially on a mild auto car.

the 3.73's wouln't help much, but their better than 3.27's.

I got into the low, low 1.8's on 100% stock susp aside from these lowers, J&M Mustang Rear Lower Control Arms (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

& my recomendation would be the same for you, untill that is you step up the gears & put a converter in it.

you can easily go over board with susp. parts you don't need, especially on an auto car so do your home work before you drop a ton of money on stuff you don't need.
