I'm jealous of you Bullitt.

The urge to just gut mine is always there. But I promised myself I'd keep it a full interior street car. Not gutted like my POS Z28 so that it'll be unbearable to drive in the summer.

That's what I have the pimp ride for....... The 2011 Kia Optima.... It's actually a nice car, and has awesome air conditioning.

Stopped on the way home and picked these up from Wilson Racecars. These will allow me to raise the Kirkey up high enough so that I can see over the dash.....lol

Haha, right on. They are pretty nice cars. I'm probably going to pick up a little MK4 VW Jetta TDI as a new daily driver for the mileage, plus a bike for warm weather driving and fun, to split up the miles between them. Then the Mustang can just sit in the garage all week with the broken down Z28.

I should get Kirkeys then. I'm not even that tall at about 6'1" but one of the only things I dislike about the Mustang is not being able to see traffic lights if I pull up normally. I have to stay a few feet back to be able to see. And forget about using the visor when the sun is annoying, blocks my whole view. Lower seats would be useful.

I'm 5'6", and I was staring into the gauges when I test fit the Kirkey.......... I looked like the 80 year old women driving around Florida. I had to have the spacers....... lol

I will get some when I do the full install this weekend. It's pretty comical.

I call it: "Kirkey for cripples".....

I had some problems once I bolted the Kirkey in and got it set up at the right height and distance getting in and out of the car because of the steering wheel. I'm partially disabled, so being a contortionist doesn't work for me. So I had to break out a few sharp tools and get to work.

Looks cool man, that things gotta weigh nothing. You should paint it to match the other aluminum pieces going in! and there will be SOME type of cushion support going on that, no?

It would of looked VERY cool but maybe a little too much if you would of anodized all the aluminum panels like metallic blue/red/silver or something
