Wtfcrunch's Custom Springs

As I do race my car weekly and drive it hard as much as I can the stock springs were on their last limb as well as the shocks that will be replaced by Koni Yellows soon.

A local machine shop has a coil compression machine and grader so I decided to go there and explain what I wanted from them. They based the diagram off 'Sportlines' but the drop is more like a set of H&R's.

This is the crappy cell phone picture I got when the first 2 were done compared to other springs.

Ride quality is like riding in a CJ or TJ Jeep but I grew up in both so its nothing strange to me. And the performance is amazing!

Location is Williamsburg, Virginia.

Photos taken from a Canon xSi and t1i. Last two are my cell camera last night...

Picture of the camber it gave me

Let me know what everyone thinks.

ps. I need new pipes and some fog light bezels I am aware.

That is really cool! I've never heard of someone doing that- on any car. Cheers man, on a job well done!

Now Go get a business license and think about selling them.

lmao at the biker boys comment, and wtfcrunch im not sure why youd want your mustang to ride like a jeep but tbe stance looks really good.

props for having the idea and initiative to have em custom made, what did it cost you total?

I didn't specifically want it to ride like a jeep but to have a significant amount of stiffness and acceptable rebound. And the way it came out is just a little rough but it doesn't bother me.

Total it cost me $165 and some change. I got a small discount but that is still a reasonable price for 4 springs. I installed them myself.

And thanks for the compliments! Keep them coming!

No problems with the quote. It was cool to see it in your sig. I liked the movie too, 1) Megan Good , and 2) smoke's bike, to me, is the sickest bike I've ever seen.

Plus almost all of the bikers in my area were extras in he movie, so it was pretty cool when it came out.

Google Satellite map Gloucester, VA. Look at the surrounding areas. Count the dirt roads and corn fields. Cleaning my car every day is a fun task and all but wiping mud off the bumper after every stop gets a little annoying. = Mud flaps, for mud.

Looks good and I like the unusal color also. Oh besides the bezels you also need the lights and new pigtails/connectors for them!!!

I am not sure if I want to get the acutual lights yet or not. I am not even sure if I even have the old wires. Bezels are definitely needed however.
