emblem question

would the 05-09 gt emblems fit on my car?

Possibly, I actually put the Chrome ring that's designed for the "gt" part on mine

Yes, a guy over on MF has them on his. However I'm not sure of they will cover up the hole behind the emblem

Yes they will work. F8L GT already has them on his mineral grey 02 GT bracket car.

2002 Sonic Blue GT - Full bolt ons - Sold

Well he got back to me only to find out his car is a 35th anniversary car so it had 3 holes instead of 1. His had to be filled it.

And I found a pic of F8L GTs car.

yeah, i talked to f8l. he said I just gotta eyeball it to make it level since it doesnt have any pins

What I would do is put some painters tape down under the old GT emblem so you know exactly where it was.

I had to eye ball my V6 emblems when I put them on.

I like the design of the lettering on this one but not too crazy about the bright, doesn't-match-anything, red.

I put some v6/mach emblems on my car and they lined up with the holes for the GT badge.

Yeah I didn't know there were holes behind them. I thought it was like the decklid GT emblem, so I cut off the protrusion on the back of the emblems that goes into the hole to line them up. I realized I could have kept them after I took the GT emblems off.
