ALSO!!! how do you launch everyone? do you rev, or just start out normally? usually when i rev and dump, even at 1500rpm it just burns rubber.

Okay so what I would do is launch at around 2000-2500 feathering the clutch. In first gear I would shift at around 6100, 2nd 5800, 3rd 5800 4th 5800.

Well I can tell what not to do the best I have gotten os a 9 flat in the 8Th but when I dump the clutch at anything higher than 2300 I spin half way down the track 1/8 mile that is. Other than that I shift about 5800 all the way threw

just feather the clutch at 2500 rpm and shift at 5800 and you should be fine....youll get the feel for it after you run it a couple of times

wouldnt that run a huge risk of breaking something on the rear end? the only driveterrain part i have is a alum driveshaft... no gears nothin... nada... i also have a 75mm intake and plenum... no CAI yet but getting one very very soon... also pypes catted x and violator catback. thats it.
BTW: what do you think my car has the potential of running w/o the CAI but with all the mods i have listed?

No I wasn't.... I don't recommend it if your scared of breaking parts tho.... I did it to my 01 GT 50+ times and the only problem I had was I bent an axle. They are easy to replace and easy to find for dirt cheap. She would cut a 1.700 60ft on stock suspension and eibach sportlines. Then run a [email protected] w/ JLT CAI, 70mm TB, trickflow plenum, off-road X, SLP catback, diablo tuner and 4.10's.

With the minor mods you have I don't think you would have to worry about breaking.

You know someone that broke their rear end launching hard with a stock Mustang? Was it a high mileage car? I wouldn't think that a stock Mustang would have enough power to do any damage.

Well a couple of guys over on SN95 forums seem to have said that, and I have also heard that from a few people up at the track! Because that is what I thought too, but apparently not!
