Abs light after towing car home

Well my transmission left me on the side.of the road, 25miles from home. I towed the car home with a car dolly, the front wheels on the dolly...since the tranny is coming out for a new built one I didn't bother disconnecting the drive shaft and towed it in neutral...now when I got home I turned the car on to back it up in the shop since reverse still works...and I noticed that my abs light is on. I checked all abs sensors and cleaned them, I also checked for pinched wires and everything checks out. Could towing the car while in neutral for so long affect the sensors?

Yes because the rear wheels were turning and the fronts were not. Disconnect the battery for an hour and check again

This is similar to getting and ABS light when the front tires are much shorter than the back.

Does it really matter ? You only have reverse, I doubt you'll be driving anywhere

When you put the new transmission in, drive it around the block and the light should go out.

X2. The light will come on if the rear wheels are moving but not the front.
It will go off if you drive it.
