Current Setup
Been away from this for a while with military deployment stuff and training that was dropped on my last minute last spring and summer and now I am all settled in at my new assignment in Connecticut so I can get back to business.
I did get my bottom end built and stroked to a 5.3L on a Boss Block by MMR while I was away. Have a kenne bell set up on it now but just not that happy with it
Hopefully I get this build back on track.
Current Setup
Rear Axle: Ford 8.8 31 spline Detroit tru-trac with 3.73 gears
Ford racing aluminum driveshaft
Transmission: Built 4r70w (upto 750 rwhp) with a 2800 PTC converter
Engine: MMR 5.3L Stroker 9:1 with ported PI heads & MPH cams
FI: Kenne Bell 2.6L with Behemoth inlet
Fuel: Returnless - GT tank, Cobra hat with dual 340Lph pumps, 40 amp BAP, 80# Injectors, Fore Rails
Future Setup
Rear Axle: stay the same or suggestions
driveshaft: stay the same or suggestions
Transmission: saty the same or suggestions
Engine: Swap to TFS 195cc Race Heads with MHS Turbo Stage 3 Cams
FI: Twin 66/67mm either turbohorsepower or hellion suggestions
Intake: Edelbrock or Logan if still available suggestions
Fuel: Return with Cobra tank, Fore hat, dual DCSS 465Lph pumps, -12 or -10 feed line, use current feed line as return
Plan for now is to tear down a little bit at a time - sell the Kenne bell and the ported heads and swap the heads and intake and go temporarily NA. Upgrade the fuel system and then get the turbo kit.
