thunderbird tranny on my 03v6

So i got a free 4.6l thunderbird car that im going to make an engine table from the engine, and well the tranny is a 4r70w, will it swap to my v6 that also has a 4r70w. Reason i ask, is that this tbird tranny is fresh from the rebuilt shop and my 4r70w doesnt run right now
Thanks guys

No it will not fit. The v6 engine uses 5.0 bolt pattern for the transmission housing. That is why all foxbody guys use v6 trans for thier 5.0. You could have all the internals swapped over though.
