?u¢? my life
A picture is worth a thousand words, and my centennial edition mustang isn't worth much any more. I forgot to buckle my seat belt before I left work and had my eyes off the road for 5 seconds and as soon as I heard the belt click I looked up and saw the light pole. The bumper only has scratches and the head light is fine, but the fender, tire, wheel, all steering and suspension components are severely screwed. Now my dead cylinder has to be put off even longer since I now have major body work to do along with the suspension and the airbag replacement. I'm sore and can barely move and all I can think about is that I have 6 hours until it's daylight and I can further examine the damage. Oh and I have a cracked windshield and I suspect a bent sub frame. Just another excuse to not drive it lol. I'm a fairly tough guy who has dealt with murder, drugs, assault, rape and all the things that you expect law enforcement to deal with and I have a heart made out of ice, but I cried like a girl when I saw the damage. I went straight home because I couldn't stand to see her like that. Now for the irony, my seat belt saved me from being hurt way worse than I was, but if I hadn't tried to put it on I wouldn't have wrecked. Just another day in the life of me.
