Pacesetter headers and EGR questions

Hi Guys,

I just bought a 2003 mach 1 with pacesetter headers but previous owner did a EGR delete on it. Looks like on the Pacesetter headers, on the number 1 and number 2 cylinder header pipe, there's a bung with steel nut on it. I was wondering if that is the hole for some type of air injection module like EGR system. It looks like I'll need a special custom made egr pipe. I like would to keep the delete but don't think I can pass emissions without it here in Northern Virginia. Anyone done a EGR on a long tube headers? Also, besides the new EGR pipe and a valve, any electrical connection is needed for ECU to know it's there?

Thanks guys.
