What is this on my header?

I have 3/4 inch(red arrow in the picture pointing to) nut on the number one and number two header tube on my pacesetter headers. Anyone know what this is? Can this be used for EGR tube port instead putting a bung on the header collector instead?

Thanks.

I can't tell from the pic if thats a welded cap, or a threaded cap. if it is threaded I wonder if at some point there were O2 sensors there? In either case you should be able to use that to get EGR for your re-install of the EGR stuff, you just need gas from the exhaust to be able to recirculate. Keep us posted!

Looks like someone either had a o2 sensor or wide band in there or some other kind of custom modification.. congrats you have a free wide band port..
