Been here since 2010 have a 2003 Centennial Mustang with a V1 Strim pushing 5-6 psi. The blower has been on since 2010. Trickflow plenum, 3:73 gears, Summit Racing 28 spline axles, MAC X pipe, pypes high flow cats, Ford Racine C springs, radiator replaced last year.

What up Fellows? just seems awful quiet around here lately and i know within the last couple years these 2V cars have been pushing further then we ever thought possible. We see people getting into the 8s and making well over 1000RWHP

Havent given up yet, up in rochester NY this week, last week i was in Israel. Hopefully i can put my intake manifold back on this weekend and run my turbo drain line. Either this weekend or Monday. Difficult trying to get the time to put this thing together with all the travelling for work, trying to plan a wedding, and prepping the apartment for a baby due in April.

Ouch!thats painful, where are you located? I like the sn95's, i think the styling is under rated

I've been a member since 2014 but have only really been a contributing member for the last couple years. This is still my go-to place for more technical questions, and in my opinion one of the last great Mustang forums. It's a shame it's moving to Facebook because, I tried the Facebook game. It's mostly sarcasm and white noise and can be difficult to find valuable information. I had a friend buy an 03 Mustang a few months ago and I pointed him to this forum for info.

My wife and I bought a house 7 months ago and that has put the Mustang on the back burner as I have been remodeling the house so I don't have time or money to put into her right now. It's still my DD for now but I'm hoping to buy a Taurus SHO in the coming year or two and then I can focus on doing more intense projects on the Mustang. Currently I've completely overhauled the suspension and steering system with all new bits and I recently bought a Mark VIII and I'm planning to pull the motor out after the new year and begin building it for the Mustang. I also want to do an explorer 31 spline diff conversion, and re-do the interior (new seats, sound deadening, stereo, etc.) but this will have to wait till I can get a new DD and make the Mustang a garage queen.

It really is a shame that Facebook it taking over. It is borderline useless to get real information on(as stated, just sarcasm, jerky comments and keyboard jockies/bench racers who regurgitate things other people have heard from the grape vine), and next to impossible to sell anything on. Everyone wants something for nothing. If you try selling parts for realistic value, the facebook jockies give you a load of shit, then offer you nothing for the sale item. Discouraging...

facebook is cancer. i can't wait for everybody to have some kind of mass realization that it sucks so that it can just die off already.

everybody uses it but everybody hates it

as for me, i'm still here. i'm daily driving a 2017 fiesta ST these days. absolutely love that car. never would have expected a little fwd turbo 4 banger hatch to be that much fun.

i also still have all the mustangs in my sig, plus a handful of other cars that i inherited when my dad died a couple of months ago. i'll be selling a lot of them, but most of them need full restorations so it'll be a while before i list them.

things like:

I'm still here. I bought my car in 2006 and have been a member since 2007. My car is still a daily driver but it isn't young any more. I drove it 20,000 per year from 2006 to 2010 when I retired. It still runs about 6,000 miles per year.

In 2006 I added FRPP Cobra front brakes because I had a caliper lock up. In 2007, I added a BBK TB/Plenum and a stage II ATI ProCharger running 9 psi at 6000 rpm. Dyno results are in signature. This had been planned from day 1.

Then I got hooked on modding. In 2008, I added a Hurst short-throw shifter, 10th Anniversary SVE wheels, BBK long-tube headers with catted x-pipe, Cervini's 95 Cobra hood, Mach 1 grill delete, FRPP front wing, and moved the rear spoiler back two inches.

In 2009 I was back to performance mods with a 31 Spline Explorer differential, 31 spline Strange axles, and 3.73 gears. In 2010 it was UPR Pro-series adjustable control arms and welded torque boxes. In 2011 it was a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch that I wish I hadn't bought it lasted two years before it had to be replaced. I now have a King Cobra clutch.

In 2012 it was drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk brake pads because of the rear rotors. SpeedConcepts sells a set that has Cobra front and GT rear. I had replaced the Autozone rear rotors and pads twice since I put on the Cobra front brakes. I wanted something zinc coated that wouldn't rust so fast. I also liked the looks. My daily driver had probably put almost 100,000 miles on the FRPP Cobra rotors and pads. When I took them off they looked very good.

I think it was 2015 when I started de-modding. I hated the NVH from the rear control arms. I replaced the UPR upper control arms with FRPP one from Maximum Motorsport and I replaced the Spherical Bushings (metal on metal) I had installed in the differential with stock rubber ones. I'm much happier now.

I have run a 12.7/111 mph quarter during test and tune days at Lucas and I get 24 mpg straight highway, 21 mpg on my normal commute. I enjoy having a spirited daily driver. The motor and car has 211,000. The last 131,000 supercharged. It uses about a half quart of oil per 3,000 miles. Because of age and ZDDP content I switched from Mobile 1 full-synthetic 0-30 to Mobile 1 full-synthetic European blend 0-40 a couple of years ago. It has the 1000 ppm of ZDDP that our engines were designed for instead of the environmental friendly 650 ppm. I don't intend a lot more mods but I do intend to drive the car another 60,000 miles. By then I will be almost 80 years old.

Edit: I almost forgot. The previous owner put a Flowmaster cat-back on the car. I hated the Flowmaster drone. After driving the car two years I couldn't stand it anymore. I had the Flowmasters cut out and Magnaflows welded in. Much, much better.

I'm still here but no longer own a mustang. Sold my new edge and bought a civic a couple years ago after getting a new job that required me drive 50 miles round trip each day. 32mpg is much better than the 17 I was seeing. Almost bought another mustang earlier this year but with the plan of having kids next year I opted for a tahoe instead.

So I've got a 1964 GMC Fleetside, 2007 Tahoe LTZ, and a 2009 Civic sedan.

I am in Marietta, Ga. You donít see too many of the 96-98 Gtís/Cobras by me. I have had the car for 11 years. Got it back in high school.

Long live the round bodies, one day will get one and engine swap it. Either a 5.4 2v with comp 270's and a widened eddelbrock intake. Or a 5.4 4v.. or a 6.8L 2v v10. Just for the sake of it being a difficult swap. I like challenges.. ifbi wanted easy and fast i would drive my green car &#x1f642;

I like the idea of a 5.4 2v swap but the consensus is that its not worth the effort. I think if you, or anyone really, were to do the swap and custom make things I bet it would make more power than people are getting now. For example, if someone were to throw a 5.4 2v with trickflow heads, custom cam, longtubes, and a custom or modified intake it would make decent power. Most who do the swap use parts for a 4.6 due to the lack of mods for the 5.4 but it has 49 more cubic inches, it needs things like I said above to reach its full potential.

Now that Im off my soap box, hi Ive been here since 2011 when I had my 00 gt and since then Ive owned numerous cars including 2 other mustangs. I also used to have a different username until I traded my 00 gt for my 07 gt.

Still here with my 01

Hi all. Still here with my 2001 GT. Almost a year since I bought it. Have not done much to it since I had it dyno tuned at Performance in NH. Put
about 4000 miles on it this past year. Runs like a champ. I figure I am going to keep it at the nice safe 380 rwhp at 9 lbs of boost and not go further.... yet!
My brother painted the hood a metallic black, hood scoop a flat black and the trunk the stock black. I added on a Cobra rear spoiler and hope to do the front spoiler
as well. Thanks for all of the great information on this site. Kind of kills me looking at all of the horsepower numbers out there as you want to add more, but money
needs to go into the house... and wife.

There is a 99-04 buy/sell/parts market that isn't too bad... if you don't read the comments. Lol. I've seen some pretty good deals on there but 75-80% of the stuff for sale is on the east coast and the cost of shipping makes it more expensive then what I can find over here and the savings is lost. Facebook can be "valuable" if you take the time to dig through all the crap.

I miss all the activity we used to have. Debates over which clutch, etc. There used to be a huge Vortech group and a smaller ProCharger group that discussed the benefits of both. Almost all have moved on.

The comments are the best parts, amazing what people will post when they have no idea what they are talking about. There was a guy in one of my C10 pages I follow who posted a picture of his master cylinder with a bolt stripped out of it, half of the comments were people telling him to just JB Weld it back in place.
