Thinking about picking up a 2004 P71, what would you do with it?

Long story short, my uncle passed away a year ago and his widow is selling a bunch of stuff. She has a 04 P71 I could have for $300 or less. It has a rod knock, but other than that the car looks pretty good. My original thought was to pick the car up and pull the drivetrain for my 91 coupe teksid 2v build and scrap the car and get my money back. Now I'm wondering if I should just put a motor in it and turn it into a driver. I do have a Mark VIII motor with cobra intake that was suppose to go into the 91, but I could easily drop it in the P71 I guess. Or there are a couple of 2v's around I could buy. I would have to sell my current daily driver(which I love) in order to drive the P71 if/when it was running...unfortunately with 2 mustangs, I only have room for 1 daily driver. So, do I pick it up and stay on course with the 91? or Should I turn it into a driver and sell my truck? What would you do?
