Right now I'm leaning towards the MTAC. Anyone have one, or another that they suggest for a full size?

I like Crossbreed Supertucks and AlienGear. The aliengear cloak tuck 2.0 is very comfortable, and the Supertuck is the "original".

I'll check them out.

The alien gear cloak tuck looks nice but I like the idea that the MTAC has a lot of adjustments. The alien gear is pretty cheap, but I don't want to trade quality and comfort for price. You like that alien gear quite a bit?

I've heard good things about Theis Holsters as well. Its on my wish list to try as well as the Alien Gear.

That's just the thing. There are sooooo many choices.

My Theis holster is great. I plan on ordering another one here shortly for my Shield.

I love the Crossbreed Supertuck

i like my crossbreed supertuck too, but it's the only holster i have experience with

+1 on alien gear. I forget that Im concealing sometimes. Ive tried crossbreed and theis. Each one has a better feature then the other but I was going for more comfort and alien breed surpassed that.

The aliengear cloak tuck 2.0 is great, there is a lot of adjustment in it and it is super comfortable.
My only complaint is that it isn't as rigid as leather so the holster doesn't hold its shape after a number of times of wearing it.

My other holster is a Foxx holster for my G19 and it works fine, no complaints except the metal clips could snag on something.

I have a supertuck and an MTAC

The supertuck wins hands down.

You have a couple fewer holes for adjusting the height and the cant, but if you really wanted to you could get a leather punch and add a few holes.

The supertuck is infinitely more comfortable in my opinion.

I did not get the shooters cut on it however. I may send it back to get that done, we'll see. I've only worn it for a month

Do you have a good belt?

Yes. They are adjustable for cant and for retention. There really isn't much difference between them and the MTAC except for appearance. Both follow the same design philosophy, individual belt clips that can be adjusted independently for angle. The cloak tuck is nice because you can order additional kydex for different guns, I have one for my 5" 1911 as well as a kydex for my 3.3" 1911 and one for my wife's XD-S. Three holsters in one.

You can order different holsters for the MTAC too, and this is a nice feature of both. I was going to get one for my XD .40 as well, but I may go with the cloak tuck now. It's cheaper, so if I don't like it, it's not as big of a deal.

As far as a belt, I wear my leather belt that I wear with my boots everywhere. That's what I got and that's what I wear.

Sorry for the late response, just saw this. I've had a MTAC for about 3 years now. I love it whether it's winter or summer. Never feels hot or cold against the skin. Also, the back has a piece of leather sewn over the hardware so it's real comfortable IWB. If you decide to take a look again, I would give it a try. I was nervous spending as much as it costs, but it was worth it.

Please know, it took about a week of wearing it for the leather to form to my shape, but once it did it's perfect. It's never come off my belt and tucks real nice. I'm ordering more for my other carry guns. Comptac has some real nice stuff. I also use it when on my motorcycle and have never had an issue with the firearm getting loose.

All above are good options and White Hat Holsters is another good company similar to Crossbreed. You can get custom kydex done as well. Here's mine.

Dang that's cool. Link? I'd like to buy one of these for my Lc9. Not the same design, but something I could customize like that. Ill then of course get a portrait of Boy George on it.

I think I'm going to order it. That's a damn good deal for a holster like that.

I don't care for the SuperTuck style holsters. There a pain in the ass to put on and take off. I like a Single clip kydex holster. It's stupid fast on/off very comfortable. For my shield and even a full size Glock. It's also tuckable which is awesome for deeper concealment. BTW it's just a cheap ebay holster from rubicon tactical. $45

I just ordered a Milt Sparks heritage too. Looking forward to getting it.
