carbotech brake squeal

Just made the trip down to Charlotte for optima this weekend and my front brakes started squealing. Seems to be from around 25-45mph when off the brakes. Ive read up on them being noisy anyone have the same effect? Still brakes great no noise then just when off the brakes.

Washed it couple days ago, wouldn't think it would of done anything couple hundred miles out. Ive seen online that some people have had the ax6 squeal when off the brakes. Just annoying but will see what happens tomorrow during the autocross if a heat cycle helps out

Do you know if its coming from the front, rear or both? My Hawk HP+ pads on my 04 Mustang nearly always squeak on the rear of my car. I am assuming the aggressive compound barely rubbing the rotor causes this to happen. Doesn't affect anything and they don't get hot or slow the car down or make it brake worse.

Welcome to the AX6 pads. They make noise... lots and lots and lots of noise. That's why they don't recommend them for any street duty. The 1521 is their street pad (and it lacks any real bite for autocross duty).

Oh yea they are noise under braking and not, but they work so well. Just turn the radio up a little louder when traveling to events.
