Pulling engine / Fan spacer question

Hi,
I'm planning on pulling my engine (1967 Coupe) this Saturday and want to remove the fan for a little extra clearance.

What is the best way to remove the spacer and fan? Should I use a strap wrench on the pulley?

Is it just as simple as removing the four bolts on the spacer? (Red arrow pointing to them)

Not sure how to remove them without the pulley turning....

Just hold the fan blade with one hand, and break them loose with the other. They should not be too hard to get loose. I would also pull the radiator, since you will need to take it out before pulling the engine anyway. It would suck to jack up the fins because something slipped while you were working on the fan.

AJ,
Thanks a lot, I was worried about messing it up.

I got it off, got the radiator out, removed the hood and hood hinges, I have been marking all of my wires and hoses.
Ready to go on Saturday.
