Project:Vintage Racer (69 Coupe)

Hey Everyone! figured I post my build here. anyways, it was my first car and my family are the 2nd owners.

I've been doing this build a lil over a year now and the car will be built for street use and the occasional AutoX.

specs are:

FPS 392w stroker crack hp/tq 450/420

Performance Automatic C-4 "street fighter" w/ Hughes 2500 stall Converter

upgraded Driveshaft

fully built ford 8" with 3:55's

Grab-a-track 4.5 leafs with Shelby Traction Bars

KYB Gas adjusts

Carbon Fiber Anvil Chin Spoiler

Vintage Venom drilled/slotted Cobra brake Kit

18x9/10 Solid Black FR500's from AM.com

245/40 & 275/40 BFG Sport Comp-2 Tires

Futures plans are:

Street Or track Coil Over Conversion

Subframes

currently debating if I should paint the hood or not:

Anyways here are some pictures of the build:

Engine/brakes

I'd definitely do the Black on that hood. Love them that way, and will be a fun build to watch

well no, I had to organize and place everything in bags and categorize them to a specific area, like "Bumper bolts", "fender trim" etc...

if its your first time place them in sandwich bags and write down what they are for on the bag, it really helps.

news: so we have the tires mounted and we are waiting on lug nuts. we did encounter a problem the rear brake lines are wrong so we will be replacing that. I am also debating if I should/have to modify the e-brake so the shop will be calling Vintage Venom.

Slowly but surely the car is coming along nicely.
