Brake Light help

I need some help troubleshooting a problem....my brake lights don't work. The tail lights turn on with the headlights and turn signals but don't light up when I step on the brakes. Any suggestions as why this could be happening or how I can fix this?

There is a sensor attached to the brake pedal, check the output with a multimeter or test light while pushing the pedal down. If that works the problem is probably the turn signal switch. From the pedal The brake signals go through there to pick up blinky blinky before heading to the back.

My switch fell off a few weeks ago. Either way, it sounds like the switch is the problem.

I tell the truth. Deal with it.

So unfortunately I'm having the issue again; replaced the fuse, brake light switch, flasher module but now all the lights work except emergency flashers and brake lights or one brake light/turn signal works (drivers side works but not the passenger side). Anyone have any ideas?

Did you just replace your headlight switch? I think you mentioned that in the other thread. Make sure the wiring harness is fully connected to the headlight switch. If not you will get some issues.

Turns out that the turn signal switch was bad as well as had a short in the rear passenger side taillight...
