Talking Nürburgring

Well I am in the process of planning a trip to Amsterdam and Munich at the end of September. I am going for Oktoberfest with a friend. Heres the quick run down. Sep 23rd leave for Amsterdam. Stay in Amsterdam Fri and Sat night (23rd and 24th). Sun night (25th) get on a train and try and be at the Nürburgring track mid to late morning on Mon (26th). Rent a race car and do 4 laps of the Nürburgring. Get on a train for Munich Mon afternoon/night. Stay in Munich for Oktoberfest Mon, Tues, Weds night. Back to Amsterdam Thurs (29th) around noon. Stay in Amsterdam until Sat (Oct 1st) and leave in the afternoon for home.

Has anyone been around the Nürburgring? i have looked at the rental race cars and the lap prices, but i don't know if i need to take a driving course first or if i can just use an international drivers license to drive the track. How much did it cost you and what car did you use? Need to get some better ideas how much it's going to set me back. So far I am planning on about $666 for the Nürburgring. Track, car, laps, gas, and gifts.

I think its like 15 bucks a lap.
Thats all I know.

Contact the owner of Torq Speedlab. His name is Erik, and he has been around that track a thousand times. I believe he used to live there. He can tell you anything you need to know and where to go for anything.

He would be happy to talk to you.

You can find his number here South Florida Dyno Tuning and Performance Shop. Specializing in SCT, Diablo and Standalone Tuning for Diesel, Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, Charger, Challenger, SRT, Viper. Professional Installation of aftermarket performance products - Torq

I would never spend nearly 700 bucks to go around for only 4 laps on any track lol. Thats almost 200 bucks a lap. What a rip off.

If I was rich I wouldnt give a shit.

But if you have a lot of money, then take a ton of pictures we wanna see

It's about $265 for the race car, and $122 for 4 laps. The track is 16.1 miles long. No idea how much gas is some going with $125 for the gas (90% sure it will be a lot less then that) and $154 to spend for gifts.

Well the track is also called 'the green hell' so the car+laps+125 for gas+154 for gifts=$666. $666 because it's 'the green hell'. lol
