just registered on a nissan forum

so my mom got a nissan altima coupe and she wants me to do some work on it.

ive got a pretty basic idea of what to do to it to personalize it for her but i needed some assistance.

first impressions of the nissan forum were this is

lol we'll see... anyone on here have a nissan as well that could tell me a good one to check out

i just registered on nissanclub.com

basic mods she wants are headlight and taillight tint, window tint, and cough cough .... purple underglow lol

i say fuck it the car is JDM anyways its not like shes some teenager i think she deserves the underglow haha it would be a fun mod for her.

My brother's got a Altima Coupe 3.5. He's over on nicoclub.com. Says they're one of the best resources for the Altima, so you may want to check them out.

Is it a 3.5 or 2.5? The 3.5 is a sick motor. I used to be a big time maxima guy. Super nice cars and really good peformance for the price.

I really like my brother's 3.5, but I can't stand that CVT transmission for some reason. It's fine in my dad's 2.5 sedan (they have two Altimas, the coupe and the sedan) since the whole point of that car was fuel efficiency, but i wish my brother had gone stick instead.

The CVT transmission is over a hundred years old, but only recently has technology found wide spread use in cars. It stands for continuous variable transmission so it never shifts, but continually adjusts gear ratio. You can google for more info.

From what I've seen the CVT Altima is good for mid 14's with the manual reaching 14 flat.

Why not trade her your mustang for the Altima ?
It's faster and has better throttle response than the V6
Mustangs.

They're also good for breaking without warning and causing a big hole in your pocket. With today's 6+ Speed Autos, CVTs are already falling on their face with their "advantages."
