Oddly enough I was more into it when I was fighting off brown recluses in a storage space in the sketchy part of town. I was so excited to have a blower car.

Now it's just a giant paperweight sitting in the driveway taunting me that there's so much more to do, and no matter how much work I seem to put it into it, I'm never any closer to getting it done. The other night I was putting the finishing touches on the radiator, fan pack and brackets, and even with staying out there well into the night, I go to do the last thing, unscrew the bleed fitting, and the goddamn thing strips out. I just can't win.

Id just be happy to have some money to put into mine, let alone a sheltered place to do it lol. I'd do the storage facility thing, but the cost on those things is fucking ridiculous.

That doesn't look bad at all, (I'm avoiding the funny stripe on the hood and side) nothing you can't fix.

Looks like a solid car though and is that a saleen wing on the back?

What's under the hood? Basic 302? With gt40 fun stuff?

I like the color. I even like the idea of the hood stripe. The side strip needs to go tho, maby some rocker pannle stripes but even that's stretching it. Post up some more pics when you go see it

---------- Post added at 09:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:33 PM ----------

And maby if the stripe was black it would be a little better. Maby wider to

Basic 302 as far as I know. 88k miles was repainted but guy said it wasn't a good job. So

And yeah that's the wing/spoiler.

I'm not that mad at the stripes but like you said. Easy fix, I'm hoping they are vinyl tho. Pull them off maybe a wet sand? We'll see how bad it is in person tho.

---------- Post added at 09:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:35 PM ----------

Yeah I'm not a fan of stripes on the side at all. The rocker ones imo are worse tho.

That seems like a pipe dream now.

She puked coolant on the dyno June 2013. Pulled the heads and rebuilt it only to still be pushing exhaust into the coolant. Found the cracks in the block around September 2013. Shipped the car off for header fabrication March 2014. Finally got it back September 2014. Realized asshat fucked up the flanges. Headers went back, didn't get those back till this May, and I still had to fix them myself.

Now it's just sitting out there, taunting me. It looks the same damn way it did last year this time. Just a worthless shell with some semblance of an engine under the hood.

With some love can be a nice car. You mentioned the interior needs attention? Like what?

Personally go check it out from the pictures paint doesn't look to bad, usually if it was a shitty job bumpers would be peeling.

And I'm hoping stripes are vinyl as well be so much easier lol, wet sand might not be necessary but maybe a good buff or clay bar job? Can't be certain until you look.

Wing is alright probably worth more in resale than on the car but it's not mine. Ummm I like things plain I find stripes take away from the hard dedicated work you put into detail and paying attention to detail like cleaning the rims or buffing paint.

To me a stripe is added for example "oh there's rust let's add a stripe to remove some of the attention away from the rust". If that makes sense.

Just getting one first. Feeling it out and maybe street/track. My last one I was going towards autox but ended up selling when it was garaged for way to long.

An auto fox? Now that would be interesting to see. For me a fox looks best with fat and skinnies and a good size cowl with a drag wing
