Colby's Oxford GT (PIC HEAVY)

Well Summertime rolled around and finally got the funds together to start some of the things i've been putting off. Decided to make a couple of purchases from American muscle and I just got the first shipment in today. The first order deals mainly with appearance upgrades.
Order one:
Chrome 17x9/10.5 FR500s
New chrome acorns
Sumitomo 315s
Smoked Headlights
Tail light/ 3rd brake light tint

Also went to a painless dent removal guy and got all the dents out of my left and right rear quarter panels.
Had 15 percent tint installed.

Pictures: [Be kind this is pre-detail....and its been over 3 months since last detail]

Before:
After:

Order two is still in the making as i've got to clean out the garage since my parents have relocated to Florida.
Planned Order two:
Ford Racing C springs
MM FLSFC
J&M Rear Lower Control Arms
Magnaflow Catted X/ Prochamber
New Shocks/Struts<-- Still deciding recommendations welcome but trying to stay lower in price.
Poly Isos for the rear
MM Caster Camber Plates

With all these new parts coming in I realized i was running incredibly low on detailing supplies and whats the point in shinny rims without a properly cleaned ride! Chemical guys had a pretty sweet deal going on so i went and restocked.
Chemical Guys Order:
Black light
V7
Nonsense
new microfiber
new applicators
JetSEAL 109
CG leather conditioner (mothers charger needs a good cleaner)
LUBER w/fine claybar
Petes 53
CG citrus wash
CG Black on Black
Blitz Sealant
CG Silk Shine for tires

I'll include pictures and reviews in the Detailer sections of the forum.

More pictures to come as I try to find a better camera and my supplies come in tomorrow...So consider this a teaser

ColbyFoxx,

First of, thank you for your business we greatly appreciate it! The Chrome FR500's compliment the white paint perfectly!

Post up some pictures after you get done the detail, I see you picked up some sick detailing products!

Also, that's one hell of a build list!

I hope your transaction went smoothly, feel free to hit me up if you need any further assistance!

I tried to get pictures of them but they never turn out. White in the sunlight does a good job of reflecting poorly in the camera i guess. But they looked as if someone had simply punched (with their palm) the rear quarter panels of the car. PDR works as long as the dents aren't on edges or are too sharp (small deep)

And thanks for the compliment!

Arguably the best cheap Shock/Struts are the Tokico HP Series, pick some up at AmericanMuscle! Otherwise, Koni Str.t(s) seem to be getting some good reviews. Unfortunately, AM does not have those... Either way, love the color!!!

Yeah i'm currently thinking about the HPs at least they are a replacement/sorta upgrade from stock. I also looked at the koni Srt.ts at MM seemed like a good cheap set as well. Thanks for the advice.

Oxford is clearly the sexiest

Tinted the Tails/Third brake light tonight.
Wasn't that bad of course they are only the vinyl decals from AM so i did get a few bubbles nothing too bad.
Quick Shot

Also gunna swing by home depot tonight and grab some nylon plugs and cleaner wax to get this out.

So I can try out the spoilerless look for awhile! Should look pretty aggressive once i get some new springs and my blackout panel on.

Made the second order or at least part of it!
Wednesday is when everything is suppose to come in:
Ford "C" springs w/rear isos
MM CC Plates
Smoked Fogs
Silverstars as the new headlights (Smoked lenses really are a biotch at night)

Also to keep me pre occupied today while I wait for the stang to finally have Lowering springs I started to realize how much I dislike my Single Din Headunit. I currently am running a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X7479 like this:

I have it wired with iPod and USB hookups through the glove box. Don't get me wrong the Unit itself is great but the little Shelf/storage place above the Headunit drives me crazy. Its too small for anything useful and if you put anything small in there your hand is too big to get it out. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem So i figured i'd see what i could fab up to cover or make the space more appealing.

Practice Run:

I decided to create a cover to place over the hole with some sort of Mustang/ Writing on it so that when an LED was turned on it would shine through and look appealing. Heres the current practice run.

Went to the home depot grabbed some pasti dipp and plexiglass sheets:

Then found some cardboard and made sure of some fitments.

Then I created a stencil to block the area I want Transparent for light to shine through:
(Simply made from paper and tapped on to the plexi)

Sprayed with a solid coat of plasti dipp and BAM.

There are two types of possible covers:

Option one:
Create a cover that cover the entire storage space

Results:

Option two:
Create a cover that fills in the storage space instead of covering it.

Coming soon!

I plan on making a better stencil one with less transparent area tomorrow.
I'll also snap some pictures of the install and the "Storage Space" in the morning.
