Help me pick out a new car for my little sister

The XC90 is a pain in the ass so my mom wants to trade it in for something new. We don't really have a defined budget but somewhere under 20k would be nice. The new car is going to be daily driven by my mom for a year and then will be given to my sister when she gets her license. Today they're going to Ford and VW dealerships to look at a Fiesta and others.

On a side note, fuck my sister for getting a brand new car for free. lol

So what would you guys recommend as a good first car for a teenage girl?

Something with a small backseat and large console between the two front seats.

Mustang and a snake, but not a Cobra

Look at a Fusion or Focus if you aer stuck on American.... If not check out a Mazda 3 or a Bug. Fun little cars with not enough power to be dangerous but plenty enough to have fun.

Fook off HD, this is serious business.

I was thinking a Focus Hatchback. Anybody have experience with those?

Yup they're great little cars. If your budget is 20k I'd look at fiestas though.

A mid 90's 4 door sedan. Why buy a teenage female a brand new car? You know what teenage girls do to cars? They load the inside up with garbage and clothes the crash it into random objects on a weekly basis.

One of the first cars I suggested to my mom was an older TDI like the one you got.

Unfortunately, she wants to go new and the new TDIs might be a bit out of budget.

Oh trust me dude, I know. My first suggestion was a 2000s civic but my mom is dead set on buying a new car. It's sad because I know my sister is going to treat the car like shit and won't appreciate it at all.

Get a focus or fiesta. Best option I think for a teenage girl that doesn't want a powerful car......or does she?

Doesn't matter if she wants a powerful car, she's not getting one as a first car lol

I think it would be awesome to get her a base model 13 v6 stang but I know that would only get her in trouble.

Base model F-150. Safe. Decent gas mileage. Runs good.
