Loudest setup? Open headers, preferably tri-Y with a 3 inch collector, oh god I love the sound of a cammed up dirt late model

its closer to 210 right now with the headers, and with a car that weighs 3000lbs and has a 4.06 final drive, you better watch your back. Should be closer to 225-230whp by the end of spring with a tune

Oh, and it's front wheel hp, not rear.

I've gotten deafened by fart cans numerous times.

Best ones are the hondas and acuras running no cats, no resonators, and no mufflers, just pipe all the way out back....

are we talking sink counter or kitchen counter? sinks are slow compared to a 2v but.. those kitchen ones fly.

Or did you mean more like a calcuator or abacus?

All about tonal frequency and pitch.

Hondas usually spin at higher RPMs so they're gonna have more exhaust gas velocity then a v8 at low RPM. Unless you have like 3-4" straightpipes listening to your engine pounding away, the hondas high pitched tones will usually carry over your bass tones. Or my personal favorite, open headers (lol). High pitched sounds also typically travel farther.

Yeah I chopped that paragraph all up. You get the point though.

Usually open headers when they're that bad. Even mmy ol 4bangstang did that with open headers. So much fun

It is all thru the exhaust system. Yes, of course the engine plays a roll but, a Hondua can only be as loud as they make it. Just like a Mustang.

If there is a hole in the exhaust, depending on its location, it could be avoiding every sound deadener on the car.

If you want your car loud, get headers and ditch the mufflers.
Loud USUALLY sounds like shit.

I tell the truth. Deal with it.
