You are going to be a senior? Home Depot, Lowes, and WalMart are also good places to start. You can get a position in shipping and receiving and not have to deal with the customers. Don't need money? Like to learn body work or mechanics? Get an apprentice position at a shop. Little to nothing for pay, but you get the training and experience to get a good job. Start talking to recruiters. Air Guard, National Guard, and Coast Guard. You'll get training experience, benefits, bonuses, college tuition and good pay. You could have joined already and went to basic during summer break. If you do take that route, don't go into something that isn't going to help you get a job. Not many firms want someone that can drive a tank or fire some mortars. Aviation, medical, and finance are the best jobs. If you are smart, once you got into the Guard you could go warrant officer and become a pilot. Wish I could have but my hearing held me back. Good luck with whatever you choose.
