I'm not a fan of Zs either but people go nuts for them. Even if it's scrap material people will pay hand over fist for them.

Why is that? Theyre not very attractive and theyre not fast. I can see people going crazy over the newer Z's but not those older ones.

Back in the late 70's, they were 2/3 the performance of a Trans Am at 1/2 the price. They are fun to drive, handle very well, and can be made to perform very well.

I'd buy one. Not that one, but I'd buy one.

That's ok. I prefer American myself, having owned a 99 Mustang GT, two 1997 Thunderbirds (current one with PI swap and 3.73's), and a 74 Trans Am with a 455. But there's always been room in my heart for light, nimble cars too. My dad had a 1968 Lotus Europa, which has a similar front end to the early Z cars, and I've driven a turbocharged 280Z and it was lots of fun. Drop a SBC or SBF under the hood and those 280Z's really wake up. I think one would be fun with a heavily cammed, high compression 4.6 4V under the hood too.

I wouldnt pay 1400 for that. For one it needs a right rear 1/4. And there are no pics of the interior or engine bay. Just the exterior.

So I'm confused... He has a 93 5.0 Mustang, and he's only going to trade for a 1987-93 Mustang GT or Coupe?

Why? You already HAVE ONE!

Because slapping a body kit on an lx to make it look like a gt is hard.
