Shaving Fenders/Parts?

So I've heard this term thrown around on a few different threads, and I have no idea what it means... Do our cars get hairy after a certain amount of miles? :Shiftyeyes Only kidding. But if anyone can fill me in I'd be very appreciative.

It means removing badges or handles or similar items and then filling the holes that it left behind. To make it look as though it were never there.

Helps with aerodynamics. Knocks about .000000000000000000000002 seconds off your 1/4 time.

That's why we give cars female names, because we enjoy shaving their parts.

I never really got into the trend of shaving my parts. I do so e tasteful trimming but wouldn't want to completely shave anything. It just seems like a hassle waiting to happen by not having door handles and a vast majority of the people I see that remove badges do so in hopes that it will be mistaken for a better model.

I ran cables to the trunk that are connected to the battery. Battery dies, jump it, or I can have two

When I had poppers on a truck I ran two pieces of wire behind my front bumper.. it would carry enough voltage to pop the doors.. then I can pop the hood and jump it off

Yeah many options. I had extra 0 gauge laying around so I went this route. Worked out perfect because my battery is under the backseat and my delete kit has about a 1.5" gap from trunk to under the seat delete

I have shaved fenders and shaved 03/04 rear bumper ( shaved 'cobra' and rear marker lights)

Ignore the terrible condition, just got it back from body shop and haven't had time to paint it yet.

Next comes the nasty perimeter crack around the bondo that shows through the paint. I fucking hate bondo. I only ever use epoxies and SOMETIMES spot putty.
