Just read this whole thing. Beautiful car man. I've been wanting to get a new edge and this confirms it for me. I'd even consider a sixxer and just make it sick looking and reliable DD, like you did. FTW!

Thanks dude! I'm convinced that a new edge is simply the best looking body style lol. And though while mine may be reliable, it'll never be a DD again.

Took it kinda apart the other day to re-paint some things that I half assed when I swapped engines. The paint was flaking off the valve covers, and oxidation was starting to penetrate through the paint on the upper intake. Also, CAI wasn't shiny enough.

2 coats of epoxy primer, and 3 coats of single stage black.

Probably about due for an oil change too. It's been a year and a half. But I think I've put 250 miles on it since then.

Oh wow I didn't even think of that lol. Idon't think I've ever had black. But buying a handle just for the bag would be an expensive ass shift boot lol

Ive never been a fan of the crown royal shift boot thing. Always looks out of place and kind of trashy, imo. No offense.

Your car looks amazing. Makes me really want to get to work on the exterior of mine. That matte white looks incredible with the chrome wheels. Very very clean

Well, I really don't mean to offend him, and this thought doesn't extend to him at all since I know he isn't trashy, thats just what I tend to think of when I see them is all.
