Nice work Tink! 8 hours is a long freaking time. If you enjoy that I am frightened to know what turns you on!
I'm also in that same boat. My last tattoo was 10 years ago and I have really been itching to get something done for the last 6 months ( just can't settle on what I want ).
It was definitely a long session. I never said I ENJOYED it, though
. Yeah, it took me quite a while to come up with exactly what I want. I spent a long time looking at different pictures. I knew I wanted realism and not the cartoony type of tattoos that I see alot of now. I also knew the elements that I wanted in it, but had to find the perfect examples of what I wanted, and then figure out the placement. My poor tattoo artist. I can't tell you how many emails he got from me "ok - I like this tree, but not the blossoms"..."I like these blossoms, but not the color", etc. etc. LOL. It was frustrating (for both of us), but in the end, it came out amazing and was worth it
That looks awesome op!! I really want to get a tattoo but I'm too scared to actually do it lol if I ever do I hope it turns out as good as yours
Thank you! Don't be scared...it's really not that bad. I have one on my neck, lower back and ankle. This one was by far the worst - probably because it was so many hours, and on the spine definitely didn't feel good. Just remember the pain is only temporary and is so worth it in the end
yeah, no. I'm not letting this go off thread. it's a great tattoo. period.
Thanks for taking care of that for me
lol that's fine with me. He's just so mean. Tink, that's some beautiful ART right there!
Thanks, I appreciate it
. Honestly, I don't care what anyone else thinks...it's on me and I LOVE it. Kinda like my car...I don't give a shit if someone doesn't like it - it's mine and I love it
thats awesome tink
