OMFG that shit pisses me off way to much. one of the reasons i hate people. Fuck i hate poeple that think thier shit dont stink.

I remember one night at about 1:30am in virginia beach VA i pulled up to a stop light in my mustang and some assfuck in a pruis stopped at the light beside me. leaned out his window and started yelling a bunch of shit. the last thing he said was "hey do you know how big your carbon footprint is!!!"

I replied "NOPE!"

flipped the switch on my line lock revved it up dumped the clutch and rosted my nittos for about 45 seconds.

I've seen this video awhile back. Sad part is, the process to build a Prius is more damaging to the environment than most cars.

i would have told her my car had no cats or mufflers and revved the shit out of it. Or just punched her in the fucking face, knocked her unconscious and then pissed in her mouth.

either way, its a good day

does anyone know how to power an electric car? (i know a pruis isnt full electric), coal. it takes coal, a massive carbon emitter to create clean energy. anyone know how much it is for a new battery in a hybrid? any guesses? 5,000$. and that for a alright battery.

Not to mention they mine the nickel for all those batteries in a shady spot in Russia using dirty means, then the materials get shipped to china for them to manufacture said batteries while their plants emit lots of pollution...because china.

Those prius batteries have to be changed every few years. They bury them out in the desert. How does the environment like that?

people dont understand. electric cars are not going to replace gasoline. for a VERY long time. gas works. why replace it? Because people buy into "Oh i have no carbon footprint yay!" except for the fact to make sure you "have no" carbon footprint literal tons and tons of harmful gasses are pumped into the air you breath to create a small amount of electricity so they can feel better about themselves. I'm referring to the lady in the video, not every electric car owner. and the whole battery thing, we havent even invented a battery that can last more than 2 years efficiently, batteries are also dangerous and extremely dangerous to work on. i could go on and on but i know no one here really thinks that way.

IIRC the batteries for the Honda hybrids would see about 6-7 years before they needed to be replaced. It was $2000 for the job and it only paid .5.

I never replaced one that wasn't under warranty.

I read something where some guy is still driving an old 30s chevy and he actually has a smaller carbon footprint with that old non-catted thing than the carbon footprint for just manufacturing a new car.

I would have so much fun with this conversation. They could call me ignorant or brainless all they want, I just dont care. I'd just put it in neutral and start revving it while they tried talking. "I can't hear you over the sound of me killing the environment! "

There is a woman who ALWAYS either waves her hands down at the ground, or points her finger and shakes it at me.. she lives on the corner and thinks I am speeding..The thing is she lives on the corner near my house, so I either have JUST stopped and am waiting to turn left, or I am slowing down and preparing to turn right.. I pretty much am always going the speed limit, last time I threw a bunch of revs her way, next time I swear I am going to drift around that fucking corner while staring at her smiling. Just because my car is loud doesnt mean Im speeding. jerkface.

She'd hate to see my truck... It's a gasser that puffs, wait rolls black smoke on startup, reeks of unburnt fuel, and burning oil, is loud, and has absolutely no emissions on it whatsoever. She would get an earfull of EFI SBF at rev limiter. Her polluting less is allowing me to pollute more! Her 40+ mpg car is good for my 6-7 mpg truck makes me happy.

I can't stand these kinds of people, my grandpa had someone give him shit for his ram2500 diesel. Then the guy told him he tried to run him off the road when we had a barrel of tar roll inside the bed of the truck. Damn hippies!
