Finally had time to pull the motor. Took about 30 minutes since I had everything broke loose and disconnected a few weeks ago. Pulled the motor and tranny together.

Going to tear it down to a bare block and drop it off at SNL to inspect thr block. If it's good, going to go ahead and have them do a 402

Just dropped the motor off at SNL Performance. Should have it started next week. They advised I do not go with a UPP twin kit and go with a custom fabbed set up with twin 6062 turbos.

Gravik, you kill me haha

SNL called yesterday and took a look at the motor I dropped of. Said only the block and rods were salvageable. Perv owner fucked it up pretty bad. While I took the trans apart from the motor, I can tell the clutch has been changed once already and had hot spots all over it.

SNL have started ordering parts for the build. It will be a 402ci ls2. Dragon slayer forged crank. Weisco forged pistons, unsure what rods yet. Ls6 intake manifold. Trick flow heads and a Ed Curtis custom spex'd turbo cam. Monster stage 3 twin disc clutch. Rpm built stage 6 t56 transmission. Carbon fiber drive shaft. Gforce 1000 axles and 300m axle stubs. Mini tub done by Gforce in KS. I will trailer the car out there in a few weeks for them to do the tub

Will be running 93 with meth. Injector dynamics 1200 injectors. Not sure on fuel pump yet.

I am just doing tr long block right now. Turbos will come a few months after the motor is broke in. They are building to motor to handle 1000hp. My goals for the car on low boost will be 650-700. I don't think I'll ever want it at 1000. I think. 700 will be plenty for me.

I think it's funny how GM still uses push rods and lifters instead of modern day technology lol.

I am interested to see what this puts down for numbers though that's for sure.

What's your plans for a suspension? Have you started on that yet?

I haven't started the suspension yet. Going to get the car up and running first and a few thousand miles on it NA before I order the turbos.

Everything will rated to hold 1000hp. I do not plan to be that high any time soon. I think 600 will
Be plenty for awhile. I just want everything to be done and ready for the higher hp if/when I decide to push it

I will have basically everything from gforces, bmr, kollar racing catalog in time.

Plans for suspension and misc
Gforce level 3 axles
Gforce axle stubs
DSS 1000hp drive shaft
Gforce mini tub (won't be for awhile)
Tick level 5 built T56
Monster level 5 clutch
Mickey thompson et street 2's

Unsure how long the rear end will
Last. When it blows, I'll do more research then. 9" rear looks good but 5500.00

God damn. Coming along, eh?

I'm looking at doing ported LS3 heads given how cheap they are, but on top of the stock block. With a mildish cam I just want to be somewhere north of 450whp and swap in a set of 3.91 gears.

Not stock

Few other things I have done. Replaced the broken grille and paint them and the lower grill gloss black.

Put the oem 05 tails back on

Swapped out the blue seats for a black set.
Sent off my gauge cluster, and switch off to get a led conversion.
Which will look like the conversion I did on my first gto. Red.

I need to pick up cleaner and leather conditioner.

Made a DIY gauge cluster pod for the wideband

With you having a manual and full exhaust that goal of 450+ should be possible with those ported LS3 heads and a somewhat mild cam. Good luck with it.

I love that blue and good move on black seats, I could never understand the blue ones, for me leather seats must be black. Some of these color combos I see, like the DIB 2013-14 mustangs I see with red leather seats and steering wheel, not a fan. A local GM dealership had a 06 GTO in the blue like yours a while ago, they wouldn't let me test drive it without my mommy because I was under 25 (I was 21 wtf) and they assumed I had no credit, I have a FICO of 780 so that dealership can suck it. It had Kooks LTs and SLP mufflers, it sounded badass. I've always been a bit torn when it comes to GTOs, I feel like if I want a LS V8 two door sport car, might as well get a corvette. Lighter, better gas mileage, I just dropped $4.50/gal on 93 octane last night. I'm sure it will get more expensive as summer progresses too, just God forbid the $5.30/gal shit I saw one summer. I do really like the interior of the GTOs and G8s though, I really like how the window switches and everything are on the center console. But seriously, good luck on your build. I like the way you think with having the motor built to take way more power than you intend on making, I would do the same (anyone with half a brain would I hope). And 700hp, I can't even imagine. If I do get a 04 Cobra someday, I want to make like 600ish hp with a banshee-screaming Kenne Bell. The only cars I've owned so far are a 1999 mustang V6 and my 04 mach. That step-up of about 100hp was enormous to me at the time. And of course I'm writing a freaking novel here because I have a bunch of shit to do to the mach today that I'm not entirely thrilled to jump into.

Blue on blue is rare but I just don't like it.

Both rear head rears on the blue had stitching coming apart and the rear pass seat had a clip broken on the blue set.

The black set was in great condition without any stitching issues. Just need a good cleaning.

Got my bohnman conversion in today. Now everything is red led instead of green.
