I also got my MM quadrant and firewall adjuster put in last night too. Getting the pawl out was a pain.

Man i really haven't worked on this a whole lot in a month.. Car is coming along pretty smoothly. I replaced the rear main seal a couple of days ago and began reinstalling the flywheel and the clutch. A nice pointer for the flywheel.. if you can't remember what position it goes on, there are 2 extra holes that are not used that will show up on the rear of the crank shaft. These holes make the end of the crank dirty and will show you where you need to align your flywheel up!

I got my rear suspension all mocked up and ready to go. I should be able to slap the rear wheels on soon. Front suspension needs to be tweaked still, but that's a job for another day/week/month.

I got my brakes bled for the most part. Will need to do some more bleeding but it works for now and i chased down a couple of leaks that were at the ABS block.

Got my tranny back together and replaced the TOB retaining sleeve. If i wouldn't have lost a bolt to my pressure plate i could have had my transmission mounted back onto the engine! But, since i lost a bolt, i'm waiting on my order from AM to get here so i can get back to work. If all goes well, i should have the engine and transmission back in the car during winter break. I started my new job and will be working 8-5 M-Fri which is going to be AWESOME.

It's January and it's cold as fuck here so I haven't been able to do much of anything. Tranny is bolted to the motor and I should be able to drop it in the next time I have a niceish day. My old phone Shit out on me so I lost all of my pictures that I took unfortunately.

So i figured i would give a little bit of an update. Things are going decent! I might have to pull the dash for the heater core but that's another project for another...year. Picture time!








All my accessories are all mounted up i believe. Got my A/C and Powersteering all hooked up. There are a couple brackets that i can't remember where they go so i will have to do some more research on them.



My oil filter relocation mounted! I think it worked out fairly slick. Had to use some washers to space it out enough so i can still access my fog light.



Stifflers tranny crossmember installed. I cleaned the underside of the car and it is looking much better than it was before.



Driveshaft installed! i have a complete drive train in the car now. I haven't had one for almost a year and a half.


Basically, that's all i have to offer at the moment. I only get to work on it one day a week as it sits. Hopefully i will have all the wiring put back in and mocked by up next weekend.

It's late and i need to post an update.

My seats are in! GT500 seats straight out of rainbows corn hole.



I need to make brackets for them to fit my car, which i should be tackling this weekend if the weather permits.

I mocked up the front bumper because i haven't seen her with a face in forever.




I"m really close. I need to fine-tune the suspension. Run my S/S lines for my oil filter relocation. Fill her up with oil. Siphon the tank and put new gas in her and hopefully she'll be ready to start.. i'll post a more updated update in a couple days when i have the time to sit down and check it out in depth with more pictures.

September of 2014 is when i started pulling her apart! Brackets are a pain in the ass to make for the S197 seats when your welder is halfway across town. My AN fittings should be here sometime this week. I hope to get oil in it and get it started up by next weekend. *crossing my fingers*

He had issues with a "rubber o-ring" when i was there. Lol, just when you get to drive it, keep it AWAY frommthe deer in the first 2 miles of drive time.

It's filled up and no coolant leaks.. Waiting to see if the heater core is fucked or not . an fittings should be here this weekend so I can run my oil lines and get it filled up.

Alright guys i have not taken a whole lot of pictures but i figured i would post an update...

The car is......running! But there have been some hiccups along the way. I am using the red monster's COP conversion harness and something isn't wanting to work with my car and the harness because it is not firing up with the harness connected. With the coil packs and wires, the car is running. He has been very helpful and i need to send the harness back to him for an inspection.

MM's oil filter relocation kit is not labeled "In/Out" on their ports. If you mix these up.. you will not get oil pressure. I mixed these up and had one hell of a time trying to figure out what was going on. Luckily, it didn't mess my car up (that i know of). No shavings in the oil. Woot!

Basically the car is almost ready.. need to tune the suspension up and try to get the car pieced back together. I'm excited.
