But it is. Also I don't want to go outside. I'd have to put pants on for that

This is at night and I can't take it around the block. Had a few and no pants.....
But in its previous configuration it was annoyingly bright. It looks like alot more of the light is now projected I to the gauge face vs being reflected of the cluster housing. I did some magic to angle the strips away from me where as the plastic in the housing slopes down away from the face. So I'm really hopeing that alleviates all of the brightness issues the setup had before.

This one I took my time on. Last install too ok about 20 min, and half if it was finding useable wires. This instal took about an hour and a half with a sandwitch brake. The hard part was getting them angled towards the gauges due to the slope in the houseing.

I'm much happier with this install btw.

That would drive me insane. Personally, I have all my interior lights as dim as possible. When I get in my wife's car at night, the first thing I do is turn that damn nav screen off.

I've gotten used to bright as hell aftermarket headunits. Just takes getting used to the brightness.

being able to tolerate it isn't my point. It kills your night vision. When I fly at night, I have 4 huge screens in front of me, so I'm sure I can get used to it, but instead, I turn them down real dim, so I can see.
