Lol 240 seems like a fair safe number lol,

Also awesome stuff man I can't wait to see the finished product and yes base/clear is definitely more forgiving I'll be having my car wet sanded and cleared soon, just don't know when lol

Well car is running again although I'm having some minor charging issues,

I'm making a wire that runs from the alternator to the battery in the trunk tonight using 4 awg which I think should be fine.

I was set on calypso green, but the more I've debated it I have no idea lol

Always liked black, silver, white.

White is off the table, I've been told black is a tough color, silver or a dark silver is looking good.

Other colors possibilities are mineral grey, red, and every other color I look at

I heard black was tough and reds,
Mineral grey would look sweet though
And be different.

Yeah don't seem to be a lot of MG foxes out there.

In other news, I'm fucked on the paint. I'll have to strip the whole thing. I'll update my thread with pics later this evening.

Well car is officially in running order again,

I was at a buddies house helping him work on his car, I've never heard my car from a taking off perspective until now and I want to share it.

Idk, but maybe someone will chime in now that it's bumped.

Also blows that so many people look at the threads and don't comment. Like wtf's the point. Everyone complains that Facebook ruined forums but then don't actually post themselves.

/rant lol

Well I'd hope so because I posted this Saturday lol, it's now Monday.

And exactly I created this so people can look and comment, even if they're in the same spot and have questions I'd be glad to help.

I just don't understand, but it definitely does suck.

Your car is looking good by the way man.

Haha yeah, I tried google but it really didn't clarify where the location of the bov should really be.

And yeah I got most the piping installed just have to do some mounts for the intercooler.
The kit I bought came from a real v8 car mine was a 4cy swapped and I didn't know this but the front frame rails are different on the v8's compared to 4cy and the bumper shocks mount different as well so I got some fabbing to do there.

Yeah I wasn't aware until I pulled my car apart

But I do think I have it planned I'm going to use my 4cyl bumper mounts And cut the v8 bumper mounts off the intercooler bracket then just re weld it into place.

Once that's all done I'll either have everything powder coated or just paint it all to match my intake

I don't think the polished piping for the intercooler will match my aluminum intake well

Well got some more work done.

Over the weekend I got a whole five lug swap for my car from a 95 v6 I scrapped.
I paid $300 for the car but got $213 for it from scrap so I paid technically $87 for a whole five lug swap with disc brakes.

Next I cut the whole in my inner fender for the intercooler piping and I was scared lol but it turned out quite well.

I sprayed all my intercooler piping a cast aluminum high heat paint to match my intake and sprayed my intercooler black so keep the heat down and I'm not a big fan of polished things other then wheels.

Next I have to drill and tap the oil pan for a return line, then once that is complete swap out my injectors install my wideband and boost gauge and I'll be good to go.

I'm hoping to have most this accomplished this weekend.

It's coming along! How does painting the inter cooler black help keep it cool. Usually that's the opposite?
