I thought the exact same thing too but I've researched it and it actually improves heat rejection or dissipation vs when it was polished,

I did a very light coat to the core but the end tanks are painted completely.

My intercooler will be hidden in behind my bumper anyway so it won't see any sun.

I watched this video as part of research https://youtu.be/f1QL9veQaNg.

I'm hoping to have it running this weekend though.

Well I got my pulley on finally, just waiting for my new fuel pressure regulator and the fuel rails can be put on also I think I'm picking up a old school svo rev extender so I don't need a tune right away, plan is too lock out timing at 14* with no spout connector then use the extender so setup my air fuel ratio.

Photos won't word now either which is gay.

Got more done, got the intercooler in place and brackets made, all the intercooler piping is in just need 1 coupler.

My exhaust pipe gets the bung welded in tomorrow for the wideband and I install all that tomorrow and the boost gauge.

Then I should be able to fire her up.

I think my bov will maybe interfere with my bumper cover but I guess I'll find out eventually.

Didn't get to the dyno because my damn water pump shaft snapped in half causing the fan to go into the rad, I took it all apart then found out my timing cover was also snapped.

All new parts will be here Tuesday but it did run and it ran pretty good.

Yeah it does, it's part of the game!

06 mini, 105k auto. Not and s tho.

Reasons they were willing to entertain the offer are because it has what they call the trifecta of dash lights I forget which three exactly. Which I could have figured out that issue. He already did the wheel Speed sensors and I know abs was another one that's part of it. But those gens have major trans issues and its slipping. At first I thought maybe it could be part of all the sensors that are acting up. Since if one does it can effect the others. But from my research it's most likely not part of the trans issue. And I don't want to get into that with one of those.

I was only doing it to sell it and make some cash to pay of some cc's and since I don't actually have to. I'm passing.

I've driven it maybe 5mins just to check out drivability and it sucks lol

It needs a tune badly but that's this Saturday,
So I'm really curious to see what she makes.

She also has a running hot issue because the front mount intercooler blocks the rad.

I'm going to electric fans after the tune lol
