I'm dying right now lol, I haven't driven it in almost 2 months now.

I got to put in my 160 thermostat so I'm hoping that will help.

But I'm leaning towards finding a contour fan and just running a good fan controller.

Well I went to the dyno,

And got 1/4 through and 5 pulls in total.

The last pull was when he was starting to actually dial in the car because I he a few things wrong on the car.

For instance I didn't know the line of the bov had to be a on a vacuum source,

The tr55s are junk with boost so those were instantly swapped for the autolite 103s.

But, the 5th didn't my fucking water pump fail again, but this time it was a 1 week old heavy duty Ford racing pump that failed.

So now I'm out a water pump (covered by warranty) a rad and clutch fan again.

My buddy who owns the parts store I but all my stuff from will be contacting Ford racing to see if they'd replace my rad and fan and whatever else is broke.

But the car made 327rwhp and 366tq
On the 5th pull, boost was unknown because he didn't look at the gauge and he only got up to 5200rpm before he shut her down.

Ford contour fans fit perfectly in a fox rad with very little modification.

Well the car is running again finally,
These fans work amazing, better then the clutch fan.
I drop from 190-165 in the matter of a minute or so just at idle.

I'm back in love with my car again, it's been awhile.

It's holding up quite well thank goodness,
I've been pushing her harder and harder each day just to see if anything lets go before the dyno again.

Day 1 I seen 5lbs of boost which was Saturday when I got it running again,
Sunday day 2 I got it up to 7lbs or 8lbs around there (scared the hell outta my father and I lol it broke loose)
Day 3 which was yesterday I floored it and seen 12lbs but had to instantly let off because the car wasn't going straight at that point lmao.

I think the clutch fan spacer and clutch fan was causing a lot of problems.

Car is running awesome

I had a worn rad cap thinking my head gasket was gone because under wot I'd puke coolant out of the overflow

So replaced the rad cap which was a $9 fix

I've just finished installing my msd box with a 7000rpm pill.

So I should be off to the dyno quite soon

I've been through so much BS with this car it's quite funny,

I'm on my third water pump I now have electric fans, I blew my passenger side head gasket because well, I was running close to 12lbs of boost on cheap felpro gaskets and stock replacement head bolts.

I now have arp head studs, Cometic gaskets my gt40s were resurfaced because the one was warped by .005".

I also bought a set of eddy performer rpm aluminum heads for the car that I will be using on a build this winter if everything goes to plan.

Trying to get this build more active,

So today I got my harmonic balancer on, all my accessories, and my procharger.

I'm hoping it's running again tomorrow as the car has been broke more this summer then driven.

Then it's off to the dyno, I'm really hoping to see a safe 400ish rwhp.

My base tune is 327rwhp

I have to say this build seems like more issues then it's worth (to me) I would have gave up already haha

The Weather has finally moved away from the Devils asshole so I can actually be outside in the garage. Hope to finish stripping mine soon!

Haha yeah, I got it back together yesterday to find out that my new Ford racing water pump leaks, well the gasket does so that has to be fixed.

I'm not giving up though I like my car too much.

And awesome you'll have to keep the build updated once you start working on her again.

On another note my father and I finally started building a garage so I won't have to work on my car outside lol

Well I have one just my dads 67 Chevy 11 is in there, my calypso coupe I've been sending to my grandparents over the winter.

But yeah it has sucked for the last 2 years working on her outside that's why I haven't started body work yet lol.

The garage my dad and I are building is 30x30 so it should hold his Chevy 11 the black coupe and my calypso coupe with room to work lol.

I hope.

But yeah I've had times where I really wanted to just torch the car lol or start fresh or just sell it

But I can't do that.

It'll be tight, if you plan on working on all of them. But if two are stored they can be tucked away and give the extra room. And depends on equipment and tool boxes you have. That's another reason mine is to small. All the other bs I have in there.
