What's your personality type?

I was recently an unsuspecting candidate for my bosses interview questions, and we got on the topic of personality types.

So just for fun, I took this Myers-Brigg based test to see what my personality is:

http://similarminds.com/jung.html

I got ENTP. Sums me up pretty good. That puts me in the same camp as Heisenburg (the real one), Da Vinci, Socrates, Colbert, Robert Downey Jr., Machiavelli, Jeremy Clarkson, etc.

Post up your results. Let's see what the MM community is comprised of.

Sensing (S) 53% Intuitive (N) 47%
Feeling (F) 57% Thinking (T) 43%
Perceiving (P) 85% Judging (J) 15%

ESFP - "Entertainer". Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. 8.5% of the total population.

Never considered myself anything close to extroverted but those percentages are pretty close together.

Yeah I think mines wrong.

I bet there was a thread. But let's be real here. Who goes back more than 1 page on MM?

Nobody.

Colleen:

ESFPs have very strong inter-personal skills, and may find themselves in the role of the peacemaker frequently. Since they make decisions by using their personal values, they are usually very sympathetic and concerned for other people's well-being. They're usually quite generous and warm. They are very observant about other people, and seem to sense what is wrong with someone before others might, responding warmly with a solution to a practical need. They might not be the best advice-givers in the world, because they dislike theory and future-planning, but they are great for giving practical care.
Sounds about right, yeah?

Bubba I don't know if you know this..but your obnoxious as fuck.

You make a good point about knowing your personality though. Its interesting to learn your strengths and weaknesses in order to be able to adapt.

It's amazing how much growing up changes you. I was an ENTP throughout most of my life, but when I tested most recently, that's not what I got. My last few tests have all been the same. I'll take this one and see if it results in the same.

Yup, just what I thought:

Extroverted (E) 73% Introverted (I) 27%
Intuitive (N) 74% Sensing (S) 26%
Feeling (F) 53% Thinking (T) 47%
Perceiving (P) 93% Judging (J) 7%

ENFP - "Journalist". Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama. 8.1% of total population.

These tests are actually decently accurate of ones personality, in my experience.

Agreed..You just have to be honest when you answer them and consider how you really feel in order to get an accurate reading. A couple of questions I had to do a double take and change my answer

Yeah, you can't be really moody when you take it. I get ENFP, or an even more uncommon one that is very similar every single time. I can't remember which one that one is.

IMO these tests should be taken more than once and then you should research the different results to see which one sounds most accurate. otherwise you're very likely to get results that are only partially right
