Have $160 on today's college games. Will report progress. I don't even feel worried whatsoever about not breaking even this week-- some of the picks were like stealing. This is what worries me...

Already won the Memphis game last night

I only like a couple of games tomorrow so I think I'm gonna just do a 2 teamer and throw in Pats money line to get a little extra value.

Couple of guys in the pro shop have been betting hockey. They are 15/15 on their picks. WTF?

I'm definitely not a hockey better. I'll be on NCAA basketball when that starts, but I'm best at College FB and NFL.

So far... Won Clemson EASY. Bowling Green looks to be a win. I bet Baylor ISU OVER 73.... 72 points were scored and ISU's kicker missed a PAT. Baylor didn't even play hard.

So... 3-1 thus far

---------- Post added at 02:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:41 PM ----------

For NFL... I like Bills, Browns, Pats moneyline, Falcons, Giants.

I like Pats ML, Giants -3.5 @ even, and Carolina -3 @ -110. That's gonna be my $50 play. Should net me $150+ depending on where the money line is with the Patriots.

Florida fucking state cost me an 11 team parlay... I won all other 10 teams. They just had to win on the money. I was about to make A LOT of money.

Also, thank goodness I never got around to betting on the Bills. Their starting QB was supposed to play, but he isn't. Still sticking with my other NFL picks, but about to put them in now.

Can you pm me a link where I can look into the type of betting you're doing?

I feel pretty confident in my Fantasy team this week..should win some money there. Just isn't the same as what you guys are doing lol.

Matt- he's just doing a parlay bet ... Google if you don't understand from here.... BUT:

There's straight bets-- nearly 1/1 payouts,

Parlays (multiple teams... All have to win, but your payout increases)-- EX: 2 teams = ~2.6x bet. The payout multiplier increases as you go up in teams. My 11 team was going to pay me over a grand yesterday. That's why I was so mad that Florida St. fucked that game up.

Teasers. Teasers allow you to change the spread-- must have two or more teams in a teaser.

Ex: Pats vs Colts last week was Pats -9
Giants vs Eagles was Giants +5

I bet Pats -3 and Giants +11 (I ended up losing this, but it's an example)
I did a '6 point teaser,' adding 6 points in my favor on either side. The payouts are obviously changed by doing this, but it's a good way to give yourself an advantage.

Who are you using? The Carolina and San Diego lines were only -3, -3.5 for me

A guy at work was handing out some sheets so I'm not sure exactly who it goes through. For mine Carolina and San Diego are -4 each (rounds up I guess) and ties lose so +5 is needed to win.

Pats need a pick 6 for my $6 bet to stay alive.

Fuck. No money for me. Goddamn Patriots.

Betting is heart-breaking. I'm having a terrible weekend.

Those are called square lines, by the way. If the true line is 6.5, a square line will be 7. This means they get more pushes and save money.

---------- Post added at 03:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:30 PM ----------

Also, maybe in a bullshit bet a tie is a loss, but with a normal sportsbook, a tie is called a push and no one wins.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I'm new to this type of betting, but have enough understanding to make educated assessments.

Yeah, it's kind of shitty. Maybe I'll find somewhere else to bet.

I'm not cut out for the sunday/Monday fantasy thing.. Picked Blount for a running back and he did well last week, but this week he got me negative points..other guy got 0 points. So I'm fucked lol

Feel free to ask for thoughts before you set your lineup. I've been doing this stuff a long time, so I'm pretty good at it. I'm sure there's people who are better, but I do well above average
