i'd love a government job like that
getting a steady paycheck without having to actually work would be awesome. think about how much herbalife you'd be able to sell in your down time
I guess it sucks.
His boss wants him to always be doing something, but his actual job appears to be taking 4 trash bags out.
They give him 10 hours per bag per week.
They don't even get full in the entire week, he is always asking to do something else, but that's "stepping on someone elses toes."
He isn't even allowed to help clean up the bays where the mechanics work, that's their job. One time he got to ride in the fuel truck when one of the county trucks ran out of gas. It was a big day for him.
Twice he got to drive up to Boulder to drop off/pick up a new truck to get some lights installed. They drive the new trucks 182 miles to get lights put in them at a privately owned shop, with the highest taxes and hourly charge in the state, even though there are like 5 county techs who wait around for 7 hours a day for work.
For a while there he would sit and look through ALLDATA on the computer, you know, learning about cars but I guess that got pretty old.
