Also the shitbox I drove today probably cost less than a decent road bike. Sure beats biking in 30 deg F with 40mph winds and snow though.

I thought I'd be lazy and blow out the pumpkin with compressed air for pc cleaning. Nothing really flammable, but it did make a backdraft and now my eyebrows smell. And temporarily took in an orange cat with no tail that looked like an orange Wilford brimley.

Oh yeah. My truck did a OTA uconnect update while I was gone this week, and now it’s locked up and I can’t adjust the climate controls, radio volume, or anything else. Thank god for the maxcare lifetime warranty that you can no longer buy. No way in hell I’d buy a FCA product without it.

They have great concepts, but their execution is poor because of the subpar build quality, lack of reliability, poor customer service and unwillingness to support their products. Search around for denied warranty claims. They have a long standing reputation for telling customers no. I think my truck would be badass if it werenít so glitchy and a pain in the ass. Great styling, great power, if the electronics in it worked theyíd be great, the interior is laid out well and itís comfortable, but itís definitely not built to last.

That’s what has stopped me from buying anything dodge. I love the chargers, challengers, and ram trucks. Local guy got in a wreck when his brakes failed on his ram and the engineer they sent out to get data logs told him to go ahead and lawyer up because they will probably not do anything about it.

It's not just FCA doing this. Everything is going this way. Cars, trucks, consoles, TVs, appliances, phones... No more locally stored, manually updated programs. It's all constantly online, constantly "updated" subscription based service and everything must run through their authentification server. And with everything being software based, they're just pushing out half baked, glitchy beta level software hoping to fix it in post production, which they never do. Or push out another update to fix one feature while breaking another because validation wouldn't let them hit their metrics.

Hooray software!

Fuck it, I'mma run everything on standalones. Linux dishwashers.

they found it abandoned in the middle of an intersection and sent it to a wrecker service. i just got a letter saying i now owe the wrecker service a $155 removal fee + $30 each day it's been stored there. what the fuck? wat do? i am sure as FUCK not paying that.

1.) Buy police uniform (It must include a fake mustache. Won't work without it.)
2.) Show up at the impound lot, tell them it's evidence you need for an investigation
3.) Drive it out doing siccc wheelies.
4.) Join the Village People
5.) Stay at the YMCA
