Well they almost have a point. My truck has the 10 speed and 3.73 gears. It's almost too short in the first few gears.
Yeah but that's a 10 speed and a pickup truck. Nobody says "ugh I wish my 460HP V8 sports car with a six speed manual had waaaay shittier gearing" except for that dude.
It's a 'stang braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Also I can't be a politician because I went to a strip club once.
Sorry, do you exist in a different reality than I do? Can I come over? It's a bit...strange
...over here in this one.

"@brtnstrns acquires another mustang" saga continues:
Second dealer offered me $30,000 trade in on the 4Runner plus is allowing me to pull the roof rack off and install the OEM one which will net me another $1600 selling the rack to someone; already got a buyer lined up for it.
They're also offering $300 under invoice for the vehicle built to order and whatever incentives exist when the vehicle is delivered. If it took 2-3 months there may be some screaming deals for end-of-the-year rebates. Of course, there could also be nothing at all.
$500 fully refundable deposit which is cool, especially if they start dicking me around in finance or the 4Runner gets totaled in the mean time.
Really don't want to do any further negotiation but figured since I've got the other dealer pining for my business, I'd send him the details to see what he offers.
Awaiting that response now.
Changed up my build plan a bit though:
- Velocity Blue GTPP2
- Regular premium seats - saves me $1500 and has heating and cooling at the cost of weight savings but honestly, the bolstering on the stock seats is pretty damn sufficient - I definitely won't fall out of them at speedy turns.
- Active exhaust
- Potentially upgraded speakers even though they're probably not that great. If I don't have to ever tear into this vehicle, I'll be perfectly satisfied.
