We got the best numbers using a street start on the 0-to-30, 0-to-45, and 0-to-60 times. But got the best 0-to-75 and quarter-mile times by using a torque-brake start. The times were within hundreths of a second, or so close that start method didn't really matter. The engine revs quickly, but shifts well short of redline when the transmission is controlling the shift points. We experimented with higher-rpm shift points, by manually shifting near the 6,750 rev limiter. We did not produce times that were any faster, so those Infiniti engineers seem to have it dialed in.

Between 22-26 is what I've seen. Probably do better on longer trips but we've not been on any yet. We drove several G's before buying her ZR. The G is more luxury but the Z roadster is a totally different experience

We drove several 05 or newer GT's. I have to be honest , although I love Mustangs the Z just blows them away. The GT is probably a bit quicker on the strip but the Z will own it anywhere else. Also take a looks at resale value

A z is a lot of fun to drive. I remember when I drove one, and scared the shit out of the dealer...he never did call me about any used ones goin on sale...and it did take him a min or two to get out of the car.
