I've noticed. What's a step up? Megs 105/205? I need to get a pic of the everyday swirling in the paint on my car and get everyone's opinion on what to use.

I haven't really tried the XMT out on my car yet, it's been raining nearly daily for the past 2 weeks. :/ It may be light enough that the XMT does fine, we'll see.

Working on my 2 step right meow. Car is washed, clayed, and stripped of LSP. I'm taking a break before starting with the PC.

Some pics so far:

I like it, but id make the background fully lit and make the logo lettering dark against the lighter background....Just my 2 cents.

To bad SDMDchris no longer posts here anymore.
Have you tried IronX on your wheels Perp? I found it reacts more and faster than PC. Give it a try man.

So any tips on making it easier to apply? It's the spreading in particular that is so hard. Maybe if I take the cap off and set it in the sun for a bit? Its gonna hit 100 degrees here today so it'd probably soften right up...

TBH man those little cheap yellow ones will do fine man. But the BnS ones are nicer and will last longer.

Also being hotter outsides will soften the wax more.

I got a detail coming up this thursday/friday.

Brand new Black on Black C6 corvette. Gonna wash/decon/wax with Celeste but also inspect the paint and discuss a final polish if there are any dealer installed defects lol.

Thanks man. But on photo shop I kept it in layers so I can do stuff with it. I can change the background and render it or anything.

Same, I use the red buff n shine notched foam applicators, they're nice and big so they fit into the pot perfectly, and cover more area faster.

Has anyone used the Meguiar's white wax?

http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...107-white-wax/

I've just been using Car Wax by Armor All: Ultra Shine Butter Smooth Wax It's super easy, but results are just OK.

By hand, I don't have a DA.

Store bought wax is store bought wax and armor all is garbage no offense. You'll save money by getting a 20-40$ wax online, little goes a long way and better results for sure.
Chemical guys XXX paste wax
Zymol Carbon
Chemical Guys petes 53

I like sealants better though. Lasts longer.
Menzerna Power Lock
Sonax Polymer net shield
Jetseal 109
These will lasts in around 6 months and protect better than a carnauba wax. You can always put a carnauba wax over a sealant but not the other way around.
