Remove it or keep it? Which would look better.

Alright I need a general opinion on this. Because me trying to decide on my own isnt helping. Should I remove the side stripes from my stang or keep them?

Get rid of them. But as I"m looking at it, maybe just get rid of the word Mustang first, see how just the 2 black stripes look??

I personally hate all graphics on a Mustang. The rear MUSTANG doesnt count as thats molded.

Silver Mustangs should be clean.

....get rid of those chrome wheels though.

..why do people badge a 3.8? I mean I love my V6 but Im not going to brag about it. It groups you into the catagory of imports that have 1.8, 2.0 and 2.0T. OH! or the Ford Escape with the V6 on it. WHOA! V6 mini SUV. ....cool.

Its not double badged like that anymore, just the ponies are there now. And I put a 3.8 where the GT emblem is suppose to go on the deck lid. As for why I put a 3.8 badge on is to stop people from asking stupid questions like "Is that a GT" I get it all the time, no idea why. Plus the badge actually looks pretty good back there, ill get a pic.

And I am not sure but I think the word mustang is part of the stripe, but ill look at it closer tomorrow.

As for the rims, I want to paint them black. I hate them, they were already on the car when I bought it.

Not sure its 2 pieces like that, I don't think I can just remove the word without removing the stripes. I mean I guess I could do some cutting, but not sure. Ill check it out more tomorrow, if I can remove the word then I will and leave the striped and take pics.

The 3.8 looks good on the back where the GT would go but double on the side didn't. I think it's pretty cool for those people that have done a lot to make their v6 fast to put 3.8 on it.

As for the stripes they really don't look half bad, but I'd still get rid of them.

Well I brought my MS Paint skills out to play lol, which is best?

Non edited...

Without "Mustang"

Without stripes and "Mustang"

So which should it be? I like all of them in their own ways its impossible to decide. But if I HAD to choose one I would stick with the stripes and get rid of "Mustang"

IMHO silver is a touchy color with black. yes the vinyls on lets say a silver 427R look great, but its got alot of other exterior touches to make it work. on a stock body i prefer the clean look

Hmm I know what you mean, but I know you have seen other pics of my car, I got the whole silver and black thing going on, tails, bumper inserts, blacked out pony on the grille, soon I think I am getting black 5 spoke cobra rims. And I think just removing the word mustang from the side and leaving the stripes would be a nice touch. Idk what it is, I just feel like SOMETHING has to be there you know?

i considered striping mine at one point on the side, but for the same reason i didn't with my sixxer i love just a clean simple car. Although you should try the slants w/o the mustang and see what you think

Yea, I def think there is too much "Mustang" on my stang lol. As odd as that sounds. I got 2 on the rear alone (bumper inserts and 3rd brake light) and thats enough for me lol, everyone knows what kind of car it is, no need for "mustang" on every side of the car. About to run to dunkies in a few, when I get back im going to figure out how to take off the mustang word from each side, weather its a seperate piece for it I can just remove or if I have to cut it then peel it off.

Well I just finished doing it, wasnt hard at all. Just used a razor blade and some goof off. Yes I used a razor blade to peel the corners up on the letters so I could easily pull them off. And managed to do so without damaging my paint what so ever took 2 quick pics, what do you guys think? I like this look a lot more without the word there.

yes yes I know before anyone points it out one of my ponies is missing its tail lmao. And you can see my one and only scratch on my car
