Removing side window louvers.

I installed side window louvers on my car,the kind that stick to the paint around the window, not the window itself. I followed the dierection to a T and it just flat out did not work. The 3m tape that came with it just sucks. I did nothing wrong installing them. Half of the tape is off of the paint and then some of the other tape is coming off the louver. My big problem now is how do I remove them? I need to remove them and find out a better way to stick them on.
