center console

Im getin ready to paint the inside of my car how do i remove the center console
I got a 97 manuel
do i need to take the shift boot off and shit to take it out

there should be some screws in the center compartment or on the side of it toward the rear. there are 2 more under the shift boot.

Currently stangless. In the middle of starting a carbon fiber business.
